Another Brick in the Wall

The public square, once the beating heart of collective discourse, is now replaced by curated feeds, comment sections, and endless scrolls. The “walls” of today are not just physical; they are cognitive, emotional, and ideological — reinforced by invisible architectures of code, data, and capital.

In this shifting landscape, the artist is not a passive observer but an active constructor of new realities. As Oscar Wilde once wrote: “Art is individualism, and individualism is a disturbing and disintegrating force … it seeks to disturb monotony of type, slavery of custom, tyranny of habit, and the reduction of man to the level of a machine.”
