This painting is not only about intimacy between two people, but about the kind of presence that carries someone through uncertainty. The closeness of the figures reflects the tenderness of being cared for when strength feels distant, and the surrounding garden suggests life continuing softly around that fragile center.

Rather than drama, I wanted stillness.
Because sometimes survival is not loud.
Sometimes it is simply the quiet decision of two hearts to remain together long enough for healing to begin.
