continues within us.
To me, transformation is the discovery that what we have endured can become part of a new way of being.
My experience of illness and recovery changed how I see the body, uncertainty, and hope. In these paintings, a broken chain, a figure moving toward light, or a body releasing color gives form to feelings that are difficult to put into words.
Each work stands on its own. Together, they return to the courage of continuing—and to the possibility of beauty in a life that has changed.

I develop each original composition through digital drawing, photo editing, and computer-aided creative tools. Form, gesture, color, and light are refined around the emotional intention of the work.
Professional studio painters then realize the composition in oil under my artistic direction. The painting brings material depth, scale, and texture to the vision.
The close-up photographs on the artwork pages invite you to encounter that physical surface: the raised pigment, the marks of the brush, and the passages that become visible only when you look closely.
