    When the body becomes color.

The dancer’s back catches the light while his face turns away. His extended arm steadies the movement; around his waist, crimson and turquoise gather into a sweep of color.

The body has weight and presence. The surrounding paint moves more freely: fabric, shadow, and rhythm seem to open into one another. Within Transfiguration, this work gives transformation the form of release—an inward feeling made visible through movement.
